We bring you new photos of the biggest solar power plant in the Czech Republic. The photovoltaic power plants is located in Middle Bohemia near Vepřek in the Mělník region. The village only has 86 inhabitants and is located on the left bank of the Vltava river near the Nová Ves village.
The power plant will reach a performance of up to 35 MWp. The whole project is in construction since August 2009 and the construction completion is planned for the end of 2010. The power plant is designed into 26 blocks as a decentralized set of monocrystalline panels. Acreage of the future photovoltaic power plant is 82.5 ha.
The construction of the power plant is carried out by the DECCI a.s. company that presents their photovoltaic power plants under the common business brand FVE CZECH. SMA inverters and PhonoSolar 185 and 190 Wp solar panels were used in the construction and the total amount installed will reach 186,960 pieces.
